Early to Mid Career Pension Sustainability Seminar – Steinbach

We are letting SRTA members know that an Early to Mid Career Pension Sustainability seminar is being presented near Seine River School Division, and may be a seminar that you might be interested in.  As the information is the same for all TRAF participants, it is applicable to you.  It is being hosted by the MTS and will occur on Monday, April 9th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at the Steinbach Regional Secondary School.

This seminar is tailored to early and mid-career members (5 – 20 years), but any TRAF participant can attend.  The objective of the seminar is to help members understand aspects of pension sustainability and more importantly the likelihood/inevitability of changes to your pension either negative or positive from the plan participant’s point of view.

To register online go to the MTS website at www.mbteach.org, log in at my profile, click on the header Events and from the drop down menu choose Event Listings, scroll down and click the applicable Early and Mid-Career Seminar to complete the registrations process.  However, space is limited so register ASAP.

If you have not previously used myprofile on the member portal you will need to “Sign Up Now”.  Once you click on “Sign Up Now”, complete these required fields:

  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Password (you create your own password)
  4. Confirm Password
  5. Your MTS Number is your actual MTS membership number on your MTS Card. The next time you login, this is the number that you will use along with the password that you created.
