2018 CTF Women’s Symposium
We received this email from MTS earlier this week in regards to the Canadian Teachers’ Federation 2018 Women’s Symposium, which we are happy to share with members who may be interested in attending.
Online registration to 2018 Women’s Symposium now open
This year, “Women and Union Leadership” is the theme of the CTF Women’s Symposium hosted by the Prince Edward Island Teachers’ Federation in Charlottetown, May 6-9.
This year’s Symposium will examine challenges and successes faced by women in leadership roles within teacher organizations. Women from across the country will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and strategies for election campaigns, work/life balance, collective bargaining, and mentorship initiatives.
Registration and reservations
Before March 30, 2018, registration for the Symposium is $370 plus taxes.
Starting on March 30, registration will be $415 plus taxes.
The registration fee includes the Sunday evening Island social, lunches, breaks, workshops and presentations, as well as the Island tour, lobster dinner and the kitchen party on Tuesday, May 8. https://peilobstersuppers.com
Space is limited to 65 participants, so we encourage Member organizations to register as soon as possible.
The Symposium will take place at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Charlottetown.
