Welcome!
The Seine River Teachers’ Association (SRTA) is proud to be part of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society. We are one of 38 Teachers’ Associations in Manitoba, representing over 350 members employed by the Seine River School Division. Our Executive is made up of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairpersons of Standing Committees. Our Council is made up of representatives from 17 schools, workplaces, and units working in the division.
The Seine River Teachers’ Association is located on Treaty 1 lands; the original lands of the Anishinabe, Ininíwak, Anishinini(wak), Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Red River Métis nation. The Seine River Teachers’ Association respects the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with the Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
