2026-2028 Elections Results
On April 7, 2026, Local Elections Officer Daniel Lagacé delivered his report to Council. Upon receiving that report, we are happy to announce the following elections results:
- Vice-president: Derek Gordon, Arborgate School (acclaimed)
- Treasurer: Daniel Neufeld, Ste. Anne Collegiate (acclaimed)
- Indigenous Education Committee Chair: Chantelle Desorcy, Division Office (acclaimed)
- Wellness Committee Chair: Rebecca Brown, Parc La Salle School (acclaimed)
As a result of this year’s elections, we have the following positions open for appointments: Equity and Social Justice Committee Chair (two years) and Workplace Safety and Health Committee Chair (one year). Any member that is interested in putting their name forward to serve as one of these important chair positions should email SRTA president Jonathan Waite (president@srta.mbteach.org). Names will be accepted until April 27, 2026.
