September Issue of “The Teacher” Now Available

The September issue of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society magazine “The Teacher” is now available for download at the MTS website. It contains information about Project Overseas, using technology in the classroom, and a new way of thinking about teaching called the flipped classroom. It also features a thoughtful column by Rizi Xavier Timane called, “Back-to-school time for transgender youth,” which speaks to the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in schools.
