The Seine Scene October 2025 Newsletter

Breaking news — the first edition of The Seine Scene for the 2025-2026 school year is hot off the presses!

In this issue, we have included information about the provincial Collective Agreement and employee benefits, which includes the Kii educator assistance plan and an open enrolment period coming up for the Manitoba Public School Employee benefits plans (Blue Cross). We also highlight a variety of professional learning opportunities that are offered by MTS. Along with pictures from the event, SRTA Executive member Derek Gordon chimes in with his opinion on the SRTA Welcome Back Trivia Night. But the stars of the issue are our SRTA members who participated in professional development (funded by the SRTA PD fund) over the summer and in September/October and have contributed articles about those experiences. Our many thanks to our new Public Relations chair Ashley McKague for putting together another amazing issue of this important resource!
