The Manitoba Teachers’ Society is holding a rally to raise awareness about the impact of funding cuts on the quality of public education.
Mark your calendars! The rally will be held on Friday, May 25 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. on the front steps of the Manitoba Legislature.
MTS AGM delegates and others from the Seine River Teachers’ Association will be participating. Join us!
If you are unable to join us in person, please join us on social media. We encourage you to tweet/Facebook messages of support using the hashtag #kidsnotcuts.
Members are encouraged to share the posters displayed to the right on their social media networks, in their communities, on bulletin boards, etc.
MTS is also looking for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at the event (non-Provincial Council delegates only), they would love to have you. Please contact Sam Turenne at sturenne@mbteach.org for more information.
Manitoba’s future is in our classrooms, and together we will fight for the brightest possible future.
