CTF Canadian Forum on Public Education

If you are looking for an amazing professional development experience this summer, look no further than the Canadian Teachers’ Federation Forum on Public Education. Each year the CTF hosts a Forum on Public Education about an issue of concern to those involved in public education. The Forum is an opportunity for a broad group of individuals and organizations interested in public education to learn about and collaboratively consider important issues. It is a participatory event where the CTF actively seeks to include the voices and perspectives of teachers; representatives of school boards; Ministries of Education, teacher Unions/Associations/Federations; NGO sector (particularly working in education and wellness).

This year the theme is Wellness in our Schools: Time to Act! The CTF is inviting all partner members as they identify some of the wellness challenges that exist in our public schools, and examine ways to address these challenges collectively.

The event will be at The Westin in downtown Montreal starting the afternoon on Monday, July 11, including dinner with a keynote speaker, and continuing all day Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Registration includes dinner on Monday, lunch on Tuesday and refreshment breaks. Register for the Forum on-line by clicking on this link. The registration page also contains a link to reserve your room at The Westin Montreal.
